Aragats station is located on the slope of Mt Aragats 3200m high above the sea level and 70km far from Yerevan. It provides 24-hours operation of several particle detectors used for Galactic Cosmic Ray research and solar activity monitoring. Aragats Station has two high-voltage electric power lines, an independent reserve power supply based on three 37, 75 and 200 kW Diesel engines. It consists of 5 basic buildings with experimental equipment, living and auxiliary premises.The experiments are carried out at Nor Amberd and Aragads high-altitude stations, using neutron supermonitors.
